N.B.: the bicycle described in this man-
ual is not suitable for use on public
roads since it is not fitted with the
accessories required by the legal
regulations. In order to install these
accessories, contact your dealer who
will be happy to help you.
- In Italy, the regulations governing the
use of power assisted pedal cycles are
not subject to age limits, however it is
important to ensure that the user.....
.... is capable of riding a bicycle, i.e. that
he/she is aware of the basic princi-
ples of cycling and has the sense of
balance necessary to ride and con-
trol an EPAC;
.... is capable of mounting and dis-
mounting from a stationary bicycle
safely, especially in the case of ergo-
nomic saddles if he/she is unable to
touch the ground with his/her feet
when seated;
.... is physically suited to the specifi-
cations of the bicycle, and that he/
she does not exceed the permitted
weight limit:
- The bicycle can be used to reach high
speeds for prolonged periods. The
user must make sure that he/she has
enough stamina to control the bike
safely for a period of almost two hours.
- The bicycle is not designed to compen-
sate for infirmity or lack of physical fit-
ness.

Strong impacts due to improper use,
storage in overheated environments
(e.g. inside a motor vehicle exposed to
strong sunlight), or falls may result in
short-circuits inside the battery pack,
causing it to catch fire.
