Using your bicycle
Falling hazard and risk of acci-
dents caused by an unexpected
movement.
· Cycle with care, always respect the
recommended maintenance inter-
vals and contact the vendor imme-
diately in the event of defects.
· In addition to other factors, rider
safety also depends on riding speed
and conditions. Cycling at high
speeds has an adverse effect on rid-
ing conditions, and increases the
risk of falls and accidents.
It is important to bear in mind fac-
tors such as damaged road surfaces,
obstacles, bumps, kerbs etc. Proceed
slowly and with caution in areas
where such elements are present.
· The wheel units may cause injuries
to hands and other body parts when
they are in motion.
Keep hands and other body parts
away from the wheel units when
they are in motion.
Ensure that other persons (children
and adults) are prevented from
coming into contact with the wheel
units, with their hands or any other
part of their bodies, while they are
in motion.
· When the bicycle is used for long
periods, and especially in the case
of frequent braking, the brake disks
may become hot enough to cause
burns on exposed skin.
After riding your bicycle, allow the
brake disks to cool down for 5 min-
utes before touching them.
Do not attempt to cool them down
using water or other liquids, as this
may damage them.
Increased loads will have an ad-
verse effect on bicycle handling
while it is in motion and increase
the braking distance.
Overloading the bicycle may cause
some its components to fail or even
break. This may result in hazardous
riding conditions, falls and acci-
dents.
Do not exceed the maximum per-
mitted load (115 kg).
· Always use a child seat when carry-
ing children. Child seats should only
be mounted on a specially designed
rack. Contact your vendor.
Secure children as indicated in the
documentation supplied with the
child seat.
