• Do not leave your bicycle inside motor ve-
hicles that are exposed to direct sunlight.
The brake disks may reach very
high temperatures following a
long descent. · Do not touch the
brake disks immediately fol-
lowing a descent. · Allow them
to cool down for at least 5 min-
utes before touching them. · In
order to check the temperature,
touch them momentarily with
an exposed finger. If they are
still very hot, wait a few minutes
and then repeat the check until
the disks have cooled down.

1.f - Before using your bicycle
An unsafe bicycle may result in
hazardous riding conditions,
falls and accidents.
Before using your bicycle, always:
• check that it functions correctly and
safely; it is important to bear in mind
that the bicycle may have fallen or
been knocked over, or been tam-
pered with by strangers while left
unattended,
• inspect the bicycle components (es-
pecially the frame and forks); if you
notice any defects, contact your
dealer immediately.
1.e - First use
The bicycle is supplied to the vendor
pre-assembled. Some important safety
components are not fully assembled.
The vendor is responsible for complet-
ing the final assembly.
Make sure that the vendor has com-
piled all the sections of the test and in-
spection report before taking delivery
of your bicycle.
• Use the bicycle only in a seated po-
sition adapted to your physical re-
quirements.
• Ask the vendor for instructions re-
garding technical devices installed
on your bicycle.
