AREAS
The transmission control unit can be used to obtain
selective protection of the rooms, indicated by the
term “AREA”. Only the intrusion detector can be
assigned to an AREA.
The transmission control unit must be in
MAINTENANCE PROGRAM mode (door open).
Assigning devices to an area
Control keypad
- Type in the main access code (1234 by default), by
the navigation keys.
The screen will show .
- Using a pointed object, press the configuration
access push-button once.
- By the navigation keys select INSTALLATION and
then confirm by pressing the key.
- Select CREATION menu
Area 1, Area 2, Area 3 or
Area 4, and then confirm.
The keypad, and then, the control unit, each beep
once to confirm. The keypad shows “XX -- -- -- -- --”.
- Press the TEST push-button of the detector
assigned to the area.
The screen shows the relevant identity of every
allocated detector.
To access the other areas, press the key of the
keypad and select the area you require.
- To definitively exit from the menu, press the key
until the time is shown.
Proceed as indicated above to assign the detectors
to the selected areas.

A device can be associated with several
surveillance areas or none.
An alarm can be enabled in one area at a time.
Eliminating devices from an area
In case of an error, you can eliminate devices,
previously assigned, to a given area of your system.
Procedure:
- put the keypad in the CREATION AREA mode;
- confirm to view "XX - - - - -"
- press the yellow push-button of the control unit for
more than 5 seconds
- the control unit beeps briefly to signal that all the
devices of that area were deleted.
Exit from this elimination status is over in 5 minutes.
