Exec/Power Mode
The Executive and Power Mode page allows you to enable or disable IR reception,
enable or disable the playback control panel video confidence monitor within the embedded
web pages, and to set the power mode for the device.

Set Control Options for the IR Receiver
The front panel IR receiver and rear panel IR receiver inputs can each be enabled or both
can be disabled.
To set the control options for IR reception:
1. Click the Advanced Configuration tab above the navigation bar (see figure 63 on
page 66).
2. Click the Executive/Power Mode icon on the navigation bar. The
Executive/Power
Mode
page opens (see figure 73).
3. In the
Control Options
panel, select the desired option from the IR receiver drop-
down list (

Disable all IR reception — When selected, ignores all IR commands.
• Enable the front panel IR receiver — When selected ignores IR commands from
the rear panel wired IR input.
• Enable the rear panel IR receiver — When selected, ignores IR commands from
the front panel IR receiver.
4. Click Save (

). A notice appears briefly at the top of the screen stating that the
Executive/Power Mode settings are now applied.
Setting Control Options for the Video Confidence Display
The live video stream in the Video Confidence Display within the Player Controls
panel can be disabled to make more network bandwidth available for the displayed video
streams and for security purposes.
To disable the video confidence monitor:
1. Click the Advanced Configuration tab above the global navigation bar.
2. Click the Exec/Power Mode icon on the global navigation bar. The
Executive/Power
Mode
page opens.
