Operation
Connect power cords and turn on the output devices (such as projector lifts, screen lifts,
and lights), input (trigger) devices (such as motion detectors, and alarms), controller, and
network devices (PC, laptop, and network equipment).
Check indicator LEDs on the PC or laptop, on the unit, on the network hub or router, and so
on, to ensure that all devices are plugged in and communicating. The IPL T CR48 is ready
to be configured (see
on page 33 for information if connection or communication
problems occur. If the troubleshooting tips do not help, check with your local network
administrator, or call the Extron S3 Sales and Technical Support Hotline.
Front Panel Indicators
The front panel of the IPL T CR48 has several indicator LEDs that show the current status
of communications to and from the unit. A
Reset

panel, in a small recess next to the Power LED.

Power LED

The factory configured passwords for all accounts on this device have
been set to the device serial number. In the event of a complete system reset,
the passwords convert to the default, which is no password (see
on page 19 to change a password).

Input LEDs
— A green LED lights to indicate that the port is active.

— A green LED lights to indicate that the relay is closed and activated.

100 LED
— A green LED lights to indicate that the connection speed is 100 Mbps. If
the LED is not lit, the connection speed is 10 Mbps.

network.
