DXP HD 4K Series • Remote Control

Installing and Starting the PCS Configuration Software

The Extron Product Configuration Software (PCS) is a Windows-
based program for the DXP HD 4K that enables you to configure
the input and output, audio, and image settings. It also lets you
save and recall presets, select EDIDs, and perform nearly all the
other functions that can be accomplished via the front panel
controls or SIS commands.

Downloading the Software

To use the PCS software, download the program from

www.extron.com

and install it on the PC that will be connected

to the DXP, as described in the following sections. You can also
download updates to the DXP HD 4K software as they become
available. To access the software:

Open the Extron Web page and select the

Download

tab (see

figure 25,

).

On the

Download

screen, click the

PCS

link on the left sidebar

menu (

).
