TRANSCEIVER OPERATIONS
7.23 IQ files recording
IQ-files recording is required for storing the RX bandwidth panorama. Recorded file could be
played later with applying any known mode type.
I Q f iles recording - files are stored in the internal PC' SSD.
Press the I Q button on the front panel of the transceiver, to start recording the IQ-file.
When the IQ-file recording starts, indicator flashes -
, to the right of S-Meter.
Press the I Q button again to stop recording.
By default IQ-files are stored over the following address: C:\Users\Name_PC\ExpertSDR2\MB1

IQ-files are stored separately for each RX1 and RX2 receiver .

File name indicates - frequency and record date.
Attention!

Continuous recording of IQ-files, could lead to using all available free disk space
on your PC!
7.24 Frequency Tuning STEP Changing
You can tune the frequency of the MB1 transceiver with the different step per one encoder
clack.
There is a step indicator in the left part of the software main window.
AUTO mode is set by default - it automatically determines the tuning step according to the
speed of the encoder knob rotation.
With the help of the STEP button on the front panel of the transceiver you can change the
tuning step.
Press the STEP button several times to select requires tuning step.
