NETWORK CONNECTIONS

-The connection must be carried out in
accordance with current regulations and
observe all the rules defined by the Ether-
net standard (cable type, maximum length
of the lines, etc.).
-Connect the appliance to an electric sock-
et using a Cat5E Ethernet cable (not sup-
plied).
The appliance’s network connector is lo-
cated on the back of the appliance.
-Configure the network settings from the
appliance’s connectivity menu.

-Place the appliance in an area where there
is a good reception and Wi-Fi signal.
-Always enable the security features (en-
cryption) to protect against unauthorised-
access communications.
A network which uses one of the latest
encryption systems is more secure.
The “open” encryption does not guarantee
any kind of protection.
Wi-Fi networks in public areas or “hot
-
spots” (such as coffee shops and air
-
ports, etc.), may not guarantee any kind
of protection.
-Configure the Wi-Fi settings from the ap-
pliance’s connectivity menu and set the
encryption to be used by the network that
the appliance will be connected to.
Contact the network administrator
(system administrator) to find out the
suitable network parameters.
The Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections
cannot be enabled at the same time.

Check that the Bluetooth function is active
on the appliance and the second device.
To allow the appliance and device to com-
municate, the two devices must be paired
(see “network” function).
The appliance has a non-configur
-
able firewall that blocks unwanted ac
-
cess to the device when it is connected;
we recommend that you enable this
from the programming menu.
PAYMENT SYSTEM
The machine is sold without a payment
system, therefore whoever performs
its installation, bears the responsibil-
ity for any damage to the machine or to
objects and people deriving from the
payment system's incorrect installation.
Payment systems must be housed in the
cabinet or the side module (if there is one).
Other payment systems (e.g. change giv-
ers) and/or “cashless” systems can only be
used if special connection kits are used.
