You can configure the alarm settings for the DVR when entering wrong password.

Password Actions

Alarm Out: Select an alarm output channel for outputting the signal. 
Buzzer: Check the box to enable the buzzer when an alarm is triggered. 
E-Mail: Check the box to send email notification when an alarm is triggered. Email operation 
requires valid email setup in the Network > Advanced menu. 
Event Duration: Set up a delay time after an alarm is triggered. 

 

Click 

Apply

 to apply the settings to the DVR, or click 

OK

 to save the settings and exit from the
