Mobile

After connecting the 3G / 4G Receiver to the mobile DVR, you have to set up the mobile

settings for the mobile DVR to connect to the wireless network. Follow the steps below:

Connect the 3G / 4G Receiver to the mobile DVR. Please refer to the

User’s Manual

of the

3G / 4G Antenna Module

.

2.

Select

On

from the GPRS Service drop-down list and select an authentication (

CHAP

or

PAP

).

3.

Insert the APN, Dial Number, User Name and Password provided by the network service

provider and then click the

Save

button.

The connection status will be displayed in the

Status

field below. If it’s connected

successfully, the status will display “OK”. And the data rate information will be displayed in
the fields below. The information about the Internet Service Provider (ISP) along with the
signal type (3G/4G) and signal strength (0~98) will be displayed in the

ISP

Type

and

Signal

fields.

Note:

If a message window pops up “Please insert a 3G modem”, please reboot the mobile

DVR.
