Admin
All available privileges.
Research
Browse and play back recorded calls (Browse, Search,
Incidents, Live Monitor).
Archiver
No access.
Maintenance
No access.
Monitor
Ability to monitor live calls (Channels tab only).
Evaluator
Evaluations Tab. Usually paired with Researcher group.
SuperEvaluator
Evaluations Tab. Usually paired with Researcher group.
Export
Search, Browse tabs, with ability to use Export tools.
Below the main users table are several action buttons. All but the "Add User"
button first require a user to be selected in the user table and they take effect on
the selected User.
Add User
Brings up the same page as 'Edit User' but instead of pre-populating with the
information for an existing user account, a new account is created for editing. It
also brings up an Add New User wizard that takes care of the most important
entries: Username, Password and Security Group.
Three fields unique to the Add User User Info tab are:
Password
: The password this account will have.
Repeat Password
: To prevent user error, the same password must be entered
here.
Force password change at next login
: If checked, a new user will be forced to
change their password the first time they log into the system.
If this window is dismissed by use of 'Cancel' instead of ‘Save’, no new user
account is added. See the discussion of the 'Edit User' button below for
discussion of this page. One difference between the 'Add User' page' and 'Edit
User' page, is that when adding user the 'Username' parameter is editable,
whereas it cannot be changed when editing an existing user.
The rest of the tabs are explained below under Edit User.
Edit User:
This button brings up a page for editing the selected user account.
