Installation height:
– Transfer the dimensions to the appropriate posi-
).
– X = 2400–2450 mm
– Y1 = 90 mm
– Y2 = 50 mm
– For this purpose, draw an exact horizontal line on
the wall at the desired height. Use a long tape
measure to do so, and check the position of the
line using a spirit level.
– To determine the position of the boreholes, slip
one bracket respectively onto the support tube in
the vicinity of an arm holder (20 cm to the left or
right of an arm holder). If enough installation
space is available, you should use the outer area
(20 cm) next to an arm holder respectively for
installation. An existing third bracket is positioned
in the centre of the awning.
– The selected positions of the brackets are now
marked on the support tube. Measure the posi-
tions in relation to a fixed point (e.g. the end of the
awning) and transfer the measured values along
the horizontal line as markings onto the fixing
substrate. Now position one bracket each onto
these markings as a template and transfer the
position of the fastening holes onto the wall.
– Drill at the marked positions; in doing so, drill
slightly deeper than the fixture length (
).
– Insert fixture into the drilled holes (
).
– Align the consoles horizontally and vertically and
screw into position using the fixtures.
– wall installation:
•
Installation sequence: Bracket, washers, locking
ring, nuts.
– Insert the awning into the brackets (two people
are needed) (
). For this, insert the
awning’s supporting tube into the brackets, place
the nut on from the top, screw in the bolt and
washer from underneath, and tighten (
).
Measuring the angle of inclination
– Use the adhesive strips to simply affix the gauge
for angle of tilt (2) to the spirit level (1).
– Hold the gauge for angle of tilt (2) and spirit
level (1) laterally against the awning fabric and
read the angle of tilt from the scale.
Setting the angle of the awning
Depending on requirements you can set the cloth
inclination between 0° and 45°. Please note that a
minimum cloth inclination of 14° is required to the
rainwater drain. You must perform the following work
steps to adjust the cloth inclination:
– Loosen the fastening screws (3) on the left arm
holder by 1-2 turns. Caution, do not remove!
– Loosen the locking screw (4) to such an extent
that the left folding arm can be adjusted to its
desired inclination.
– Lift (relieve) the left folding arm by hand and lift or
lower the drop rod (front profile) to the desired
angle of inclination by turning the setting
screw (5) in clockwise or counter-clockwise
direction.
– Once the desired inclination has been reached,
tighten the locking screw and the fastening
screws again.
– Perform the same work steps on the right arm
holder.
– Use a spirit level to check that the front cross bar
is horizontal.
– Adjust as necessary on one side until the front
cross bar is horizontal.
•
Angle of inclination:
Aligning the hinged arms
– Extend the awning halfway.
– Check the alignment of the hinged arms: the
hinged joints should be on a level.
– The fall pipe for the hinged arms should be
adjusted until the hinged joints of the hinged
arms are on a level.
– Test the awning by extending and retracting it
fully.
– Adjust the fall pipe until the hinged arms close
parallel to the pipe and the fabric spindle.
Operation
Crank mechanism of the awning
Please always observe:
–
α
= 10°
C = A + H × 0,17
–
α
= 30°
C = A + H × 0,5
–
α
= 45°
C = A + H × 0,71
NOTICE! Danger of product damage!
Shorten protruding fastening screws or
threaded rods, such there is no risk of dam-
age to any awning components or awning
cloth.
NOTICE! Danger of product damage!
Maximum screw tightening torque 27 Nm.
The smallest distance between the bracket
and the arm holder should be 1 cm.
DANGER! Risk of injury!
Before using for
the first time, make absolutely sure that all
screws and other fastening elements are
firmly seated.
Note:
Extend the awning by 0.5 metres.
NOTICE! Possible damage to the awning
fabric!
The fabric tilt must be adjusted uni-
formly on both the sides. If the front rail is
not horizontal, the awning cloth will roll une-
venly and it may lead to damages.
DANGER! Risk of injury!
Check all
screws once a year for firm seating.
