ATTENTION – DAMAGE TO SURFACES
Improper cleaning agents (and in particular acetone) can damage
the surfaces.
>
Use suitable acetone-free, ethanol-based cleaners and
disinfectants for laboratories and clinics such as Meliseptol
®
New Formula.
Cleaning the device surfaces
1) Switch off the device.
2) Clean the device surfaces with a suitable cleaning and
disinfecting agent (e.g. Meliseptol
®
New Formula) and a lint-
free cloth.
The device surfaces have been cleaned.
Cleaning the carriers and wash basin cover
ATTENTION – DAMAGE TO THE CARRIERS
The carriers and wash basin cover can become warped.
>
Do not use excessive force when cleaning.
>
The carriers and wash basin cover are not suitable for the
autoclave or dishwasher.
1) Have a paper towel at the ready on which to place the carriers
and the wash basin cover and to mop up any dripping liquid
residues.
2) Remove slide(s), glass plate or cover glass(es) from the
corresponding carrier.
3) Clean the carrier and wash basin cover with a suitable cleaning
and disinfecting agent (e.g. Meliseptol
®
New Formula) and a
lint-free cloth.
The carriers and wash basin cover have been cleaned.
8.3.4 Container preparation with SETUP CLEAN
EUROIMMUN SETUP CLEAN is a cleansing agent to remove
biological deposits from liquid-carrying systems.
