Always set up the containers on the same level as MERGITE!
( Fig. 12, p. 37 ).
>
Always screw the container cap completely onto the container so
that the fill level detection is not impaired.
>
Make sure that the container labels are clearly visible at the
setup location.
>
Do not use distilled water or wash buffer that has passed its
expiry date.
>
Ensure that as little air as possible is introduced into the wash
buffer when wash buffer is applied. This prevents increased
bubble formation during washing.
The containers and liquids are prepared and connected to the device.
Switching the device on
1) Remove the wash basin cover from the wash basin and make
sure that no slide carrier is placed on the wash basin.
2) Press the On/Off switch.
The
SYSTEM STATUS
view appears.
3) Check whether the containers and the associated fill level
sensors are connected correctly ( Fig. 13 ).
4) Press
OK
.
The device checks whether the liquid system is due for cleaning
(
Chapter 8.3.1 Cleaning of the liquid system, p. 67
).
After switching on the device, it is necessary to rinse with the
wash buffer before the first wash.
