Actual battery operating time is shorter than expected.
possible cause:
The battery is exposed to excessively high or low tempera-
ture.
solution:
Suitable operating conditions are between 32°F and 113°F
(0°C and 45°C) while the ideal temperature for battery
operation is between 50°F and 95°F (10°C and 35°C).
possible cause:
The battery has not been fully discharged before being
recharged.
solution:
Make sure the battery is fully discharged and recharge it
completely before reusing.
possible cause:

have been disabled.
solution:
Go to the
Control Panel
in
Windows
and re-enable the
options.
possible cause:
A peripheral device or PC card is consuming a lot of
power.
solution:
Turn off the unused device to save power.
possible cause:
Previously the battery was given only a partial charge.
solution:
Always fully charge the battery after it has been totally
used up.
