Upgrading The Computer

Hard Disk Drive Upgrade 6 - 5

Place the HDD on a flat surface and Remove the 4 screws

6 - 9

(2 on

either side) which hold the hard disk case and connector board to the
hard disk. The hard disk case and connector board will move as one unit,

the hard disk as another. You may remove the connector board

from

the back of the HDD case using a small screwdriver to remove screws

- 11

(as in

Figure 6 - 4

below), or alternatively gently ease the disk out

from the connector board and case.
