The chain should be kept well lubricated to
prevent excess wear and premature failure. We
recommend that you lubricate the chain every 15
hours of operation, or more frequently if needed,
with a high quality chain lubricant.
10.5 REAR BRAKE AND WHEEL INSTALLATION
I
nstall the wear indicator plate aligning the tab on
the axle holder with the slit on the cam.
Install the brake arm spring and felt seal.
INSTALL THE BRAKE ARM
Tighten the brake arm bolt and nut with 10 N.m torque.
(7.2 lbf.ft)
Install the adjusters.
NOTE: Make sure the rear brake lever and pedal have the
proper amount of free plays.
Add grease to the brake cam and anchor pin.
Install the brake shoes and springs to their original
positions.
