Fill the water reservoir

water reservoir
needs filling.
1. Remove (Lift) water reservoir lid on the top
of the autoclave.
2. Carefully pour in water to the ‘MAX’ mark.
Refer to Section 3.6: “Water quality.”.
3. Replace reservoir lid by pushing into place.
DO NOT use tap
water!
You can fill the water
reservoir while the
autoclave is switched on.
DO NOT fill the water
reservoir while running
a cycle.
The water reservoir
MUST be emptied daily.
Refer to Section 9.

Load the instruments to be sterilised
Load
Cycle type
Solid, unwrapped
instruments intended for
immediate use.

Maximum autoclave load: 4.5kg.
Load trays using the supplied tray lifter.
All instruments MUST
be thoroughly cleaned
before sterilisation,
ideally in an Eschmann
Instrument Washer
Disinfector.
Refer to Appendix 2

information.

obstructions.
Be careful not to trap
your fingers when
closing the door.
WARNING!
Be careful not to splash water on the top of the autoclave.
If water is poured onto the autoclave, disconnect
from the mains socket and dry thoroughly before use
5 Loading the autoclave

Open the door
Clean the door seal and
chamber face every
day using Eschmann
recommended wipes.
1. Turn door
handle anti-
clockwise
and release
door catch
See Fig 1, pg 4.
2. Open the door.

clockwise, so
that the white
dot is below the
‘closed padlock’
symbol.
