This symbol is displayed to each touchscreen button that is correlated to
EKN O B
. The symbol is displayed in bright orange when the knob around
EKN O B
acts on the active function; it is displayed in gray on the other case.
Trackball
The trackball operates in two different modes.
Standard Mode
In its standard mode, the trackball makes it possible to quickly position the
cursors on the screen.
Each mode automatically activates the trackball on its cursor.
FREEZE
Stops the current analysis or scan and puts the system in Freeze
mode. To re-activate real time, press it again or directly press the
button of the required mode.
B
This button re-activates a B-Mode image in real time when any
other mode is active. If pressed in M-Mode, Doppler or Freeze, it
restores a full screen bi-dimensional image.
M
Activates the M-Mode and, if necessary, its selection cursor (B-
Line).
AUTO AD JUST
B G AIN
The
AUTO AD JUST RIG H T
key, available both in B-Mode and M-
Mode, automatically adjusts some controls of the active mode to
make the echo acquisition easier.
The knob around this key amplifies both B-Mode and M-Mode
gains over the entire depth of the image. To increase gain, turn the
knob clockwise, to reduce it, turn the knob counter-clockwise.
3D /4D
Activates three dimension features; further details on how to use
them are described in the “Advanced Operations” manual.
PRIN TER
Through this button you can control one peripheral to print
images. Refer to the chapter “Customizing the system” for further
information.
