o
Does the T-shirt you are printing on absorb
ink easily?
As it is difficult to force the ink to remain on the surface
of the T-shirt, misalignment may appear as lines due
to the unevenness of the T-shirt surface when
Bi-Direction (High Speed) printing is set for the print
head. If this occurs, do Print Head Alignment.
U
If the problem is not resolved by doing Print Head
Alignment, try setting
Uni-Direction (Low Speed)
for
Print Direction
in Garment Creator for SC-F3000
Series, the software for the printer. To do repeat
printing or to print a job from a USB memory stick that
has already been set to
Bi-Direction (High Speed)
,
set
Head Move Direction
to
Uni-Directional
on the
preview screen.

If lines are still visible, set either
Color Print Quality
or
White Print Quality
to

o
Have you made the pre-treatment liquid too
weak?
If the cotton pre-treatment liquid has been diluted
too much, the solidity of the White ink is weakened
and the edges of the image may be blurred. Try
reducing the density of the White ink in the software,
or make the pre-treatment liquid stronger.
If the polyester pre-treatment liquid has been diluted
too much, the ink color development deteriorates.
Adjust the dilution ratio of the pre-treatment liquid.
o
Adjust the density of the White ink.
When printing on dark colored T-shirts, vertical
unevenness may occur depending on the base color.
If this occurs, try reducing the density of the White ink
used for the under-base. You can adjust the White ink
density in the printer's Garment Creator for SC-F3000
Series software.

o
Did you remove lint from the surface of the
fabric before applying the pre-treatment
liquid?
If pre-treatment is applied when lint remains, it can
cause unevenness. Use sticky tape (a roller) to remove
lint, and then apply the pre-treatment liquid.

o
Was the pre-treatment liquid applied
correctly?
Applying too much or too little pre-treatment liquid,
or applying it unevenly can cause uneven print
results. Apply the correct amount of pre-treatment
liquid uniformly.
U
“Applying the pre-treatment liquid” on page 43
o
Increase the temperature when fixing the
pre-treatment liquid.
Depending on the type of polyester, uneven print
results may occur even if the pre-treatment liquid is
applied correctly. In this situation, try increasing the
temperature when fixing the pre-treatment liquid.
This may improve unevenness.

Vertical ruled lines are misaligned,
small print is blurry, or a grainy
appearance
The print head normally prints when moving both to
the left and the right. While this is happening, a
misalignment (gap) in the print head may cause lines to
misalign, small print to blur, or create a grainy
appearance. In these cases, do these measures in the
following order.
