4. When the
Ready
light turns on, insert a sheet of A4 paper into the front slot. The printer prints the
guide to adjust the bidirectional alignment and the first set of alignment patterns.
5. As described in the instructions, compare the alignment patterns and select the pattern with the
best alignment. You can select the alignment pattern by pressing the
F1/Eject
button (for the next
pattern) and the
F2
button (for the previous pattern). The
F1/Eject
,
Offline
and
F2
lights show
the pattern which is selected at that time. Each time you press the
F1/Eject
or
F2
button, the
printer makes a short beep.
6. Set the pattern by pressing the
Offline
button. The printer prints the next set of alignment
patterns.
7. After you select the best pattern in the final set of alignment patterns and set it by pressing the
Offline
button, turn off the printer. The setting does not change even if the printer is turned off.
