Problem
Solution
The print position is
not what you
expected
(continued).
Page length does not
match the length
of
the
paper.
Regular gaps occur in
the printout.
The page length may be set incorrectly.
Change the page length setting with DIP
switches 2-l and 2-2. See Chapter 3. If
your program allows you to send control
codes to the printer, specify page size by
sending ESC C or ESC C 0. See Chapter 9.
If this does not resolve the problem, check
the page length set by your application
software and adjust it if necessary.
If you are using the cut sheet feeder, the
self test function prints the number of
printable lines that can fit on a single
sheet. Use this feature to determine the
correct page length setting. See Chapter 5.
One-inch skip over perforation may be
set. Set DIP switch l-8 to off. See
Chapter 3. If your program allows you to
use control codes, use ESC 0 to cancel
skip over perforation. See Chapter 9.
