Problems printing via the network
The printer does not print normally via the network interface.
Cause
What to do
The Data Format setting on the
PostScript Settings
setup
option page of the Print dialog
box is different from the data
format setting specified in the
application (Mac OS 8.6 or 9.x).
If the file is created in an application that
allows you to change the data format or
encoding, such as Photoshop, make sure
that the setting in the application
matches that in the printer driver.
The network connection is
something other than
AppleTalk, and the Data
Format setting is not set to
ASCII
.
If the network connection is something
other than AppleTalk, make sure that
the Data Format setting is set to
ASCII
.
