Paper Transport

This section describes the paper registration and paper transport.

The printer detects paper inserted in the printer engine from the paper cassette or

by the

sensor. After the

sensor detects the paper top edge, the

clutch is turned on and the

roll is rotated. This time, the engine controller (MC

sends the vertical synchronous

(TOP: Top Of Paper) signal to video controller.
