Drum Charge
Drum charge is the process of charging the PC drum with static electricity before laser exposure.
This printer
the brush charge method, rather than corona charge, to charge the drum. In
brush charge, there is no generation of ozone as a result of corona discharge. This method also
allows the drum to be charged at a low voltage, because a direct electric load is applied to the PC
drum.

mirror counterclockwise to produce a laser light scan. (One side of the mirror produces one scan.)
The SOS (start of scan) sensor detects the laser rays from the SOS mirror and outputs the SOS
signals to make the starting position of each line of the image uniform.
