Adjustment/inspection of the preview monitor

5.5.2  Brightness adjustment

To absorb the individual difference between panel units, adjust VR500 and VR501 on 
the control board.

5.5.2.1  Brightness adjustment procedures

1.

Update to the firmware for inspection following the procedure in 5.4 "Firmware 
update".

2.

Connect the monitor cable with CN600 with the rear case of preview monitor 
detached.

3.

Display the 16 level gray scales following the Figure 5-28. "Inspection image 
display procedure.".

4.

Turn VR501 and check that the level is variable, then set it at the central click 
position.

5.

Turn the VR500 with the precision screwdriver to adjust so that the 16 levels can 
be the center.
