Chapter 8 Ground Attendant Operational Hand Signals
By using operational hand signals, a ground attendant can work interactively with the operator
of Model 800. Model 800 operator shall act on visual or verbal communication from the ground
attendant.
A common set of operational hand signals between the ground attendant and Prime Mover
operator will facilitate the deployment operation of ECD. Examples of some commonly
accepted hand signals are illustrated in Figure 18.
