Chapter 9 EC Deployment and Safety Decal
General guidelines:
1)
It is recommended to maintain highest setting
( maximum clearance) between the bottom of
EC roll and the top of the waste.
2)
In windy conditions, deploy in the same
direction as the wind whenever possible.

Figure 20)
The wind will assist in anchoring
Enviro™ Cover (EC) to the working face.
3)
When deploying EC in the presence of side
wind, always apply EC panels “into the wind”.
(See Figure 21)
. This deployment sequence
creates an EC overlap that prevents the wind
from lifting EC and exposing the waste (similar
to shingling on a roof).
