Trouble-shooting instructions
Always start trouble-shooting with the checklists below if faults occur after start-up or during
operation. This takes you directly (via various queries) to the cause of the problem and the
appropriate remedial measures.
Check the display

Display texts are in a foreign
language.
Switch off power supply. Press and hold down both the +/– keys and switch on the
measuring device again. The display text will appear in English and is displayed at
50% contrast.

Error messages on display
Errors which occur during commissioning or measuring operation are displayed immediately. Error messages consist of
a variety of icons. The meanings of these icons are as follows (example):
