Recalling Factory Trim with a Field Communicator
From the
HOME
screen, enter the fast key sequence and follow the steps within the Field
Communicator to complete the Sensor Trim.
Recalling factory trim with AMS Device Manager
Right click on the device and, under the
Method
drop down menu, move cursor over
Calibrate
and select
Restore Factory Calibration
.

Click
Next
after setting the control loop to manual.

Select
Sensor Trim
under
Trim to recall
and click
Next
.
3.
Follow the screen prompts to recall Sensor Trim.

Trim the analog output
The Analog Output Trim commands allow you to adjust the transmitter’s current output at the 4
and 20 mA points to match the plant standards. This trim is performed after the digital to
analog conversion so only the 4-20mA analog signal will be affected.
