If a resistor is added to the loop, ensure that the power supply is sufficient to power the
transmitter to a 20 mA output with additional loop resistance. Refer to

Performing a 4-20 mA/ 1-5 V output trim with a Field
Communicator
From the
HOME
screen, enter the fast key sequence and follow the steps within the Field
Communicator to complete the 4-20 mA output trim.

Manager
Right click on the device and, under the
Method
drop down menu, move cursor over
Calibrate
and select
Analog Calibration
.

Digital to Analog Trim.
2.
Follow the screen prompts to perform a 4-20 mA output trim.
