Correct sling attachment Figure 4-1:
• Prior to use, visually inspect the slings for any signs of abrasion or other damage.
Refer to the sling manufacturer for inspection procedure specific to the sling you are
using.
• Only use slings with ratings that exceed the weight to be lifted. Reference your
company's standards for safety factors that must be included when calculating the
load rating.
• If the slings do come in contact with the electronics, use a spreader bar on the sling
to prevent contact with the electronics.
Important
Never allow the slings to come in contact with the electronics enclosure. Damage to the enclosure
may occur.
