Note: In the Standalone/Gatekeeper mode, either the ILS or i-Planet
servers should be installed for the directory. Consult with your system
administrator regarding the installation/configuration of these servers.

H.323 Protocol Settings
For point-to-point and multipoint videoconferences, the H.323 protocol standard
is used for call signaling and control, video/audio transport and control, and
bandwidth control . xPoint

utilizes H.323 to transport video/audio via DNS and
NAT addressing, and to communicate/interact with either an MXM server or a
standard gatekeeper server, one of which you can choose to work with in order to
gain better performance and flexibility in point-to-point and multipoint
videoconferences.

To configure a connection to an MXM server or to a gatekeeper
server:
1. Select
Settings>Network>IP>H.323

appears.
