6.8 Technical Alarms for Information Purposes and Error Messages
In case of an error or if limits are exceeded, an acoustic and a visual alarm will be activated.
The reset of these alarms will occur after the correction of the condition which led to the
alarm.
Acoustic alarms
The acoustic alarm consists of an easy-to-hear intermittent alarm beep. Activation of the
Speaker
field
suppresses this sound and the loudspeaker symbol is crossed out.
Although the function to disable the acoustic alarm should be reset once the alarm condition
is cleared, the disable function will always time out after 2 minutes. The acoustic alarm
suppression is also removed when restarting the device or when another source causes an
alarm.
