Tube Alignment
To avoid flow turbulence and the associated measurement inaccuracies, it is necessary for the
tube to be straight in the area near the SonoTT
TM
Clamp-On Transducer. As you can see in the
picture, the tube should be straight for 15 cm on either side of the sensor.
Changing the SonoTT
TM
Clamp-On Transducer
If the SonoTT
TM
Clamp-On Transducer was changed before switching on the device, the new calibration
parameters in the
Settings
menu will be shown after the next switch-on sequence. If the SonoTT
TM
Clamp-On
Transducer is changed during SonoTT
TM
Ultrasonic FlowComputer operation, the alarm is activated with an
error message. After the connection of the new SonoTT
TM
Clamp-On Transducer, the alarm is reset and the
calibration data can be seen in the
Settings
menu.
Make sure that the SonoTT
TM
Clamp-On Transducer is attached at a different place on the tube
each time to avoid deformation.
