Cleaning the cylindrical Hepa filter and the
dust container
Every now and then the filters and the dust container need
to be cleaned.
32 Remove the upper cover of the dust container by
releasing the filter button.
33 Remove the pre-filter by pulling it upwards (33a).
Release the cylindrical Hepa filter by twisting and pull
upwards (33b).
34 Rinse the cylindrical Hepa filter in water. Let it dry
before placing it back into the cleaner. Replace filter
when necessary (Ref. No. EF75B).
35 Remove particles that have got stuck in the dust
container and rinse it in water. Ensure it is dry before
placing it back into the cleaner. Make sure that the
tabs on the dust container lid are located securely
into the holes on the base.
36 Put the pre-filter and upper cover back and place the
dust container back into the cleaner.
Cleaning/replacing filters
Remove the motor filter by pulling it upwards (37). Rinse it
in water and let dry before placing it back into cleaner.
There are four types of exhaust filters:
• Foam filter placed in the filter lid
• Micro filter* (Ref. No. EF 17)
• Hepa H12* non-washable (Ref. No. EF H12)
• Hepa H12* washable (can be bought as an option, Ref.
No. EF H12W)
The exhaust filters must always be replaced with new
ones and cannot be washed except Hepa H12* washable
and foam filter. The Hepa H12* washable and foam filter
can be cleaned by rinsing them under water. Let dry
before placing them back into cleaner.
Note: Make sure that all filters are completely dry before
putting them back into the cleaner.
