2.7 Start, drive and stop
Rules to follow while driving
(Section 1.1 Safety, page 7)
• Any person using the vehicle must be sufficiently
trained for using and handling the City Ranger
3070.
• Do not drive on a gradient steeper than 20°.
• Always drive carefully.
• Do not forget that the City Ranger 3070 is a
relatively high and narrow vehicle. Turning should
therefore be done at a low speed.
• Do not let the engine run in a closed area: there
is a risk of asphyxiation.
• The braking distance of your vehicle increases
when the road is wet and/or when your vehicle is
loaded.
• Be aware of the steering sensitivity and
reactivity.
• Always put on the safety seat belt.
• Never drive with an open door.
• If an alarm lamp is on or flashing when driving,
please stop in a safe place and refer to this
manual. (see Section 1.7)
• Always adhere to local traffic legislation.
Before starting the vehicle, the following
conditions must be met
• The driver must sit on the seat.
• Direction switch must be in parking.
It is advised to wait to drive until the display is
turned on.
If the main switch has been turned off, it takes
approximately 21 seconds otherwise it will
happen momentarily.
