Operator’s Manual City Ranger 3070

1.8 Other controls

Light and hazard switch

To activate the position light, press the light switch

one step. One further step turns on the driving light.

In case of emergency press the hazard switch.

(Picture 1)

Pedals

Drive pedal

The drive pedal controls the speed of the machine.

In manual mode the drive pedal can be limited by

pressing the speed level button (1.6 Controls: Page

18, button 8 on keypad 1). (Picture 2)

Inch/brake pedal

Pressing the pedal will engage engine braking.

If pressed further both engine brake and drum

brakes are applied to achieve maximum braking

performance.

Storage box

The cabin AC system is connected to the storage

box so when the cabin AC is activated cooling

inside the box is possible. If the cabin heating is

active the nozzle inside the storage box can be

closed. (Picture 3)

Attention

Test brakes on daily basis.

City Ranger 3070 does not freewheel

and sudden deacceleration occurs if the

drive pedal is released rapidly.
