CLEARANCES FOR INDOOR WATER 

HEATER INSTALLATION LOCATIONS

• Clearance in accordance with local installation codes and the requirements of the gas

supplier.

• A vent shall not terminate directly above a sidewalk or paved driveway that is located

between two single family dwellings.

• This water heater is strictly forbidden to be installed outdoors and in the bathroom.

• The water heater shall not be installed under the exhaust fan of the exhaust fan or range

hood.

• There shall be no other gas appliances near the installation of the water heater, and

there shall be no flammable gases, liquid, etc. around it.

• Installation of 

INDOOR

 water heaters should avoid the impact of others people’s lives

due to exhaust and noise.

• The water heater must  be installed in a well ventilated area (eg. open balcony, patio).

• The distance between the water heater and the surrounding wall (mm).
