MAINTENANCE
Remove the retaining ring, which fixes the mixing box on the engine side,
by a retaining ring pliers as well as the cover plate and the foam seal.
In the air filter compartment, loosen the 2 Allen screws with which the mixing
box is fixed by a
5 mm
Allen screwdriver.
Carefully pull the mixing box back to access the injector.
Pull the zero pressure hose, the engine deaerator hose and the injector plug
off the mixing box and slightly lower the hose clamp on the gas hose by a
hose clamp pliers.
Loosen the 2 Allen screws on the injector by a
5 mm
Allen screwdriver
Carefully pull the injector out of the intake socket and detach the injector
from the gas hose.
Insert the new injector onto the gas hose and reinsert the injector into the
intake socket.
Fix the injector with the 2 Allen screw by a
5 mm
Allen screwdriver.
Fix the gas hose with the hose clamp on the injector and plug the injector
plug back on the injector.
Replace the engine deaerator hose on the mixing box and push the mixing
box back into place.
Replace the zero pressure hose on the mixing box.
Fix the mixing box with the 2 Allen screws by a
5 mm
Allen screwdriver.
In the engine compartment, replace the foam gasket and the cover plate
onto the mixture intake and secure with the retaining ring.
Slide the air hose back into place and secure with the 2 hose clamps.
STEP 4 – AIR FILTER
Install the new air filter and tighten the bolt by a torque wrench with a
17 mm
socket insert.
Torque:
5 Nm
.
Put the air filter cover back on and tighten the bolt by a torque wrench with
a
17 mm
socket insert.
Torque:
5 Nm
.
Replace the rear cover of the power unit.
