To the right of the figure, you can see the assignment of the phone’s keys to the function keys in the list. Two function
keys F

each are assigned to the three “keys” input 1 – input 3, which are triggered when the activation of the inputs
is changed, as illustrated mode-dependently in the time flow chart of the figure above for input 1. The necessary mode
configuration of the inputs is to be done exclusively in the drop down lists

5.1.6.6.1 General dialog function keys
Below is the
annotated
description of a fictional function key dialog, in which the dialog elements are listed that are the
same as those of specific dialogs. The elements
Text, Icon
and
LED
are designed for phone models with soft keys that
can be labeled, and can be left in their default settings for the FernTel IP4 / IP160, which does not have this feature. The
exception to this is the
Text
element, with which you can specify the label of the function key f in the function key list,
which otherwise is labeled with the specified function type.
Type: Xyz
Selection parameter set to function type
Xyz

Specifies the function type of the selected function key f and causes the superimposition of the type
specific dialog elements in the dialog.
State:................
Selection element for setting the function state.
Appears only for function types where the function is differentiated by various states. The setting causes
the superimposition of the state-dependent dialog elements in the dialog. The general description is then
followed by the listing with a description of the various states that the respective function has. During
operation, each actuation of the function key f will cause the function state to change. In the example
the characteristic is continuously switched on and off by consecutive actuations.

The function monitors the status of the partner phone specified here and performs a direct call if the f function key is
pressed in the idle mode of the partner phone, performs a call pickup in call mode and also a direct call (call waiting) in
conversation mode.
