4.3 Operation, telephoning
4.3.1 Accept or reject call
The phone signals a call. Lift the receiver to accept the call in receiver mode or press the disconnect key
to reject the
call.

Switch microphone muting on/off. The activated muting is indicated in the bottom left of the display by the flashing
microphone symbol .

Perform callback. Keep the connection with your current conversational partner A and call conversational partner B to speak
with them without conversational partner A being able to listen in. With the introduction of the callback

, conversational
partner A is on hold; the phone asks you to enter the subscriber number for conversational partner B and establishes the
connection to them after the input has been completed.

Perform transfer. Connect your current conversational partner A with a conversational partner B, and you end the call yourself.
With the introduction of the transfer you ask the phone to enter the subscriber number for conversational partner B and
establish the connection with them, after which you confirm the input by pressing the redial key .

During your call with conversational partner A, another caller reaches you. Signaled acoustically as a call-waiting tone and
indicated in the display as a waiting call, you have the following options for dealing with the waiting caller.
You reject the caller, who then hears the busy signal.
You switch to the caller and put conversational partner A on hold, who therefore cannot listen in on your call with the
caller (conversational partner B). The further procedure corresponds to the callback, with the dialling being omitted.
