11.2 Setting the foot stroke
11.2.1 Setting the foot stroke using the hand lever
The hand lever allows the feet to be raised to the heights of
14 mm
and
20 mm
.
Proper setting
The presser foot rests on the throat plate.
The hand lever is in the inactive position.
There is a guaranteed clearance of
0.3 - 0.5 mm
between the stroke
lever and the drive dog.

To set the foot stroke using the hand lever:
1. Move the handwheel into the
0°
position.
The presser foot rests on the throat plate.
2. Loosen the screw (2) and leave the hexagonal wrench (3) inserted.
3. Turn the stroke lever (4) so that there is a clearance of
0.3 - 0.5 mm
between the stroke lever (4) and the drive dog (5).
4. Tighten the screw (2).
