Press Height Adjustment
The height of the thruster on the column is adjustable. Ad-
justment is made by first turning the two handles located
on the right rear side of the press.
• To loosen the grip on the column, turn the handles
counterclockwise, as shown in Figure 3-10a. The
counterbalance spring on the column supports the
weight of the thruster while the handles are loose.
Depending on horn weight, the press may rise up
unexpectedly, so be careful to avoid injury.
• Adjust the column to the desired height.
• Turn the handles clockwise, as shown in Figure 3-10b,
until tight.
• To rotate the handles out of the way without loosen-
ing or tightening, pull the handles outward, rotate and
release, as shown in Figure 3-11.

the support housing. The

the unloaded housing may cause
