The main fuse (C) is located on the right side of the

fuse box (B Fig. 255), on solenoid starter (D).

To access it, remove the tank cover (page 279) and

the fuse cap (E). A blown fuse can be identified by

breakage of the inner filament (F).

Important

Switch the ignition key to OFF before replacing

the fuse to avoid possible short-circuits.

Warning

Never use a fuse with a rating other than

specified. Failure to observe this rule may damage

the electric system or even cause fire.
