CJ (adjust) = reference unit error (°C) + TC error (°C).
6.
Use the calibration menu (Ref:
Section 10.2
) to do a one-
point calibration for the CJ (TC method) function.
When the display shows “Sampling complete”, set
the ‘actual applied value’ = reference unit
temperature
+ CJ (adjust)
7.
Check the calibration is correct:
•
Select the TC measure function (Ref:
Section 2.12
).
•
Check the equipment gives a TC temperature that is
the same as the temperature on the reference unit
±0.1°C (0.2°F), after correction for the known
thermocouple and reference unit error.
CJ
1.
Connect the applicable calibration equipment (Ref: Table
10-1); for example see
Section 2.12
).
Note:
Use
miniature TC connectors.
2.
Set up the DPI620G-IS calibrator as follows:
•
CH2 Function = “None”
•
CH1 Function = TC (measure)
•
In CH1 function settings select:
TC Type = K Type
Burnout Detection = off
CJ Compensation, Mode = Automatic
3.
Set the reference unit temperature: 0°C
4.
Let the equipment get to a stable temperature
(minimum: 1 hour since the last power on).
