Calibration Procedures (CH1/CH2): Current (measure)
Note:
When recalibrating ‘measure’ functions for this
range, any adjustment will affect the corresponding
source function calibration. The source function
must, therefore, be re-calibrated after adjusting the
measure function.
Perform the calibration as follows:
1.
Connect the applicable calibration equipment specified
in
Table 10-1
; for example:
•
CH1 (55 mA range) see
Section 2.6
•
CH2 (55 mA range) see
Section 2.6
and
Section 2.7
).
2.
Let the equipment get to a stable temperature
(minimum: 5 minutes since the last power on).
3.
Use the calibration menu (Ref:
Section 10.2
) to do a
three-point calibration (-FS, Zero and +FS) for each
range: 20 mA and 55 mA.
4.
Check the calibration is correct:
•
Select the applicable Current (measure) function, (Ref:
Section 2.6, 2.7
).
•
Apply the following values:
mA: -55, -25, -20, -10, -5, 0 (open circuit)
mA: 0, 5, 10, 20, 25, 55.
•
Check the error is within the specified limits (Ref: Table
10-2
)
.
