13. Malfunctions
The appliance does have a fl ame effect and the
ventilator is working, but there is no more hot air
coming from the appliance.
Maybe the thermal cut-out has been activated. After some
time the thermal cut-out will have cooled down, after
which the appliance will start generating heat again.
If the thermal cut-out is activated again straight away and
switches off the heating element, you should consult your
supplier.
The appliance has stopped working altogether.
Remove the plug from the appliance and check if both fuses
in the mains entrance have not blown.
If the fuses have blown, you can place new ones (two of 10
ampere Slow Blow) (
see fi gure 30 ) and place back the
plug. If the fuses blow again, you must contact your supplier.
Under no circumstances use fuses of more than 10 ampere.
This would have serious consequences in case of a short
circuit.
