System Setup
To switch on your phone, press and hold the power key until the phone
vibrates.
•
When the phone is on for the first time, choose your language
and time. Select Settings/Menu >> Time & language > Date
and time The DRC default language is English.
•
Follow the instructions shown on your phone.
•
Turn on Wi-Fi.
This phone does not use a mobile data
connection. It requires a Wi-Fi network.

Tap Settings/Menu > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
o
Switch Wi-Fi to ON.
o
Select the connection/network that you want to use.
o
Enter your network’s Wi
-Fi password.
o
Your Wi-Fi connection is active when network Wi-Fi
icon is shown on the status bar at the top of the screen.

Install Available updates. This mobile device is shipped with the most current software; however, it is
helpful to check for the latest Android software updates.
o
Tap Settings > System > Advanced > System update > Check for Update to check if updates are
available.
